The Adventure begins....
So soon I find myself distracted by the lure of writing.  Even though I seem to be lacking a good rant, I have a strong desire to write something here, today, just to get things started.  My hope is that, with the aid of my students and their fearless optimism, something that may appear on these pages will be worthy of reading.  Only through dedication, observation, and practice may I hope to live up to their expectations.

Welcome to Steamed Broccoli.  This is a brainchild springing from collaboration between myself (the author) and my 10th grade Composition Students.  To date-they are directly responsible for the name and in the future-posts of their very own.
